Tuition includes: Term fees, full academic and enrichment program, use of facilities, housing, 3 meals daily while on campus (1 on Saturday, 2 on Sunday), recreation pass, activities, trips and excursions per catalog, blanket and pillow.
Not included: Airfare, airport transfers (available for $40 each way), books and classroom materials, course supplements, meals eaten off campus, medical expenses, laundry, linens, souvenirs, and personal spending money ($100-$150 per week suggested).

Summer Discovery students enjoy full U-M recreation privileges and can choose from a superb selection of facilities for practicing and playing at no charge. Just outside of Ann Arbor is a beautiful countryside with dozens of lakes for swimming, boating and outdoor recreation.
U-M’s world-class indoor facility has volleyball and badminton courts, 4 full basketball courts, 11 squash and racquetball courts, an elevated 1/8 mile track, free-weight rooms, and dozens of stairmasters, life cycles, and weight machines.
Ideal for soccer, football and ultimate frisbee intramurals. The ¼ mile track is popular for jogging, walking and blading.

Students who wish to extend their participation beyond the regular recreation and athletic program may choose to participate in one of the Sports Plus offerings. Instruction is given by the top college coaches, high school coached, collegiate athletes and instructors. Classes are organized through UMove Fitness. Great for all fitness levels – Work at your own pace! During the circuit, we’ll mix the use of free weight exercises with basic low-high impact cardio moves. You’ll improve your speed, agility, balance and power - all important aspects of being a good athlete! Typical class: 8-10 min warm-up/stretch, 35-45 min circuit work, 5-8 min cool down/stretch. Meets twice weekly for 1 hour.

Zumba is a fun, cardio dance class that incorporates Latin, Hip Hop and International rhythms. Zumba is a high-energy workout that will keep your body moving the entire time! No dance experience necessary. Zumba is the most fun you will ever have working out!

The class is for intermediate to advanced players who would like to improve their tennis skills through drill work and an opportunity to play. Class will focus on court drills, coach analysis and match/play tournaments. Meets for 1 hour, twice weekly in small groups.

GOAL! Learn to shoot, score and much more! Improve your knowledge and skill level of the most popular sport in the world. This program is coached by qualified soccer coaches at the incredible Fuller Park and Soccer facility with over 10 newly renovated fields. You will engage in game strategy, playing and practice time.
Fee:$150 for 3-weeks/ $100 for 2-weeks
Improve your game! Concentrated basketball program emphasizing individual skills, game strategy, playing and practice time. Meets twice a week for 1 ½ hours working with Michigan instructors and/or players. Additional game time is available at Central Campus Recreation Building. Meets twice weekly for 11/2 hours.
