Visas and Payment Procedure

Students and their families are responsible for obtaining any required Visas. Due to the brief period of time of the program, international students should obtain a short stay TOURIST visa, (not a STUDENT visa), from the American Embassy or Consulate in their home country.

All international payments must be made as follows (credit cards are only accepted for the initial $1,295 deposit - $95 Application Fee, $200 International Registration Fee, and $1000 Program Deposit:

1. By check drawn on a US bank in US funds payable to Musiker Discovery Programs, Inc. (MDP) (i.e. international money order) or
2. By wire transfer to include the following information:

• The First National Bank of Long Island, Glen Head, N.Y. Routing # 021411335
• For the account of Summer Discovery, Account # 02-7019363
• Re: NAME OF STUDENT must be noted
• Please FAX a copy of Transaction and a copy of your Enrollment Form to Summer Discovery at (516) 625-3438

Bank charges incurred are the responsibility of the student/parent. MDP will credit only the actual payment in US dollars credited to MDP by The First National Bank of Long Island.

International Students may postpone forwarding the $95 Application Fee and instead remit $1295 ($95 Application Fee, $200 International Registration Fee, and $1000 Program Deposit) upon acceptance to the program.

Special Note: All international students living outside North America and attending a program in the USA, will be invoiced a non-refundable $200 International Registration Fee which includes health/medical insurance coverage (with deductible) while attending MDP, international courier fees, and airport meet and assist/airport transfers in the US.
